CERÂMICA LARANJAL began its journey in 1985, under the leadership of the Almeida Family. With an entrepreneurial spirit and an unwavering commitment to quality, the family established a ceramics industry that initially operated more manually, using intermittent kilns.
In 1989, CERÂMICA LARANJAL was led by José Orestes, a visionary who ushered in a new era for our brand. Under his leadership, we solidified our market presence by modernizing our production system with the construction of a new manufacturing unit, equipped with a continuous gas kiln and later, a GMP oil kiln. This transformation marked a significant milestone in our history, enhancing both the quality and efficiency of production. José Orestes also developed the renowned American and Italian tile models, known as large tiles, which were exclusive to CERÂMICA LARANJAL for many years.
After years of success under his leadership, in 2007, CERÂMICA LARANJAL was acquired by the Faulim Family. This transition allowed us to continue the company's evolution, adapting our production to meet market challenges. Recently, we switched our kiln fuel from GMP oil to wood waste (biomass), reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and innovation.
